 She is class, with her wrinkle-free blazers and J. Crew jeans that look like they were made for her

There is an "Audrey" essence in her movements, in her look, and in her posture

She is warm humor, the kind that never shames or passively looks down at you

The humor brings a laugh, but also provides that quiet comfort in rich, purple hues


She is a smile itself, stretching herself as far as she can, but doing it so happily and effortlessly,

Bringing a domino of smiles on the faces of those around her; she brings them graciously

She is Mom, the one who can bring ultimate peace into the hearts of the children she dearly loves

There may be weariness in her soul, though I couldn't tell, as she just loves and loves and loves


She is the ear that you can't help but over share into, spewing out your worries, hurts, and jokes

There's no indication that she's heard too much of your heart; she listens with gentle strokes

She is a refuge, a safe place to go when your world has been turned around or completely shattered

Gently, she picks up your many pieces, the ground clear of where you were just scattered


She is a wife, her dedication showing through quietly in how she comfortable laughs with him

It isn't a Facebook post or sicking public kisses; just confident love and support that fill her to the brim

She is a Christ-follower, faithful to Him in a way that strengthens the hearts of those she loves

The encouragement she gives and genuine care to all is a purpose given to her from above


She is...my friend.

No One Wants Me

 Am I anyone's friend really? Sometimes I think I'm close with someone, but then I may see a flicker of annoyance in their face when I act like my goofy self. I feel like I talk too much; well, I don't just feel it, I know it. Why do I have this uncontrollable trait of speaking without a filter or restriction? The Sun MIGHT Come Out Tomorrow

 Tomorrow is the big day, the day of answers, the day of either relief or distress, the day I'll find out if I'm pregnant or not. I bought the test 4 days ago because I'm NEVER late, with the exception of maybe 3-4 times in my life. Even so, it's only ever a day or two. This time is different. I am now over a week late and nothing. I did something stupid. I went to Old Navy and bought a onesie. Then I decided I didn't like that onesie because it wasn't cute. So I went to Macy's and gasped at the fact that a tiny piece of clothing could cost $30. I quickly left.  I know I haven't taken the test yet, but I got a little carried away! My plan, if I'm actually pregnant, is to surprise my husband tomorrow with the onesie and a card, telling him the big news.
